This here nose steam machine, you see, it’s a lifesaver, I tell ya. My nose gets all stuffed up, especially in the winter. Doctor says it’s ’cause of the cold, or some virus, or somethin’ like that. Sometimes, it’s even a bad bug that makes my head hurt real bad. But this nose steam machine, it helps clear things right up.

You just gotta boil some water, see? Like you’re makin’ tea, but you ain’t gonna drink it. I use my old pot, the one I used to use for soup. It takes about a quart, fill it up to there. Then you put it on the stove and let ‘er boil. Bubbles and all, just like when you’re cookin’ up some stew. This is all for the nose steam machine. Gotta get that steam going, you know?
Then comes the tricky part. You gotta be careful, ’cause that steam is hot! Don’t want no burns, no sir. I lean over the pot, real slow. Get my face close, but not too close. Then I just breathe it in. That hot, wet air, it goes right up my nose. Feels funny at first, kinda ticklish. But after a while, you can feel things startin’ to loosen up in there. This is how you use the nose steam machine, just breathe the hot steam in.
- First, get a pot, any ol’ pot will do.
- Fill it with water, ’bout a quart.
- Put it on the stove and boil it up good.
- Then, careful like, lean over and breathe in that steam.
Sometimes, I put a towel over my head, like a little tent, you see? Keeps the steam in, makes it work even better. Just gotta make sure you can still breathe! Don’t want to be passin’ out from the heat, now. That’s a good trick for the nose steam machine. Traps the steam all around your face.
Now, some folks, they like to put fancy stuff in the water. Oils and herbs and whatnot. They say it helps even more. Me, I just use plain old water. Works just fine. Don’t need no fancy smells to clear out my nose. But if you got that stuff, and you like it, go ahead. It won’t hurt the nose steam machine, I reckon.
This here steam, it’s good for more than just a stuffy nose, too. It’s good for your skin, they say. Makes it soft and smooth. Like a baby’s bottom! I don’t know about all that, but it does feel nice. Especially in the winter, when the air is so dry. This nose steam machine is also good for dry skin, I guess. Makes sense, the steam is wet after all!

And if my head is really hurtin’, like a bad ache behind my eyes, I take some of them pills. The doctor gave ’em to me. I don’t know what they’re called, some long name. But they help with the pain. One of them is called “i-boo-pro-fen” or somethin’ like that. I think there’s another one called “as-prin”. They help with the swellin’, I guess. So, if the nose steam machine ain’t enough, I take these pills too.
So, that’s how I use my nose steam machine. It ain’t nothin’ fancy, just some hot water and a pot. But it works wonders, I tell ya. Keeps my nose clear, helps me breathe easy. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it? Being able to breathe. Good for the sinuses, they say. Those are the things up in your head, behind your nose. They get all clogged up, and this steam helps ’em drain. Such a simple thing, but it makes a big difference in how you feel.
You don’t need no fancy doctor to tell you how to do it. Just be careful with the hot water, that’s all. And if you’re feelin’ really bad, go see the doctor. He’ll give you some pills or somethin’. But for a regular stuffy nose, this nose steam machine is all you need. It’s natural, it’s cheap, and it works. Can’t beat that, can you? Just good old-fashioned steam. Like a sauna for your nose!
I’ve been usin’ this method for years, ever since I was a little girl. My mama taught me, and her mama taught her. It’s been passed down for generations. And it still works just as good today as it did back then. So next time your nose is all stuffed up, give it a try. You might be surprised at how well this simple nose steam machine works. You really will. It’s just that good, and it is just that simple.
